ILLUSTRATION
A brand dedicated to creating highly customised DIY kits that integrate multiple traditional textiles and recycled clay items, while simultaneously empowering craftsmen by nurturing a deeply connected crafts community and expanding meaningful business opportunities.

DETAILS
Material
Inspired by the timeless habit of turning cookie tins into sewing boxes, our packaging blends nostalgia with function—familiar, purposeful, and rooted in tradition with a fresh twist
Form
The lid takes inspiration from the curved shapes of railway station signages, symbolising connection. Our packaging brings together cities and their artforms, uniting them in the hands of the user.

LOGO: SKETCHED AND MANIPULATED
SEMIOTICS
Logo
Our logo incorporates the initials into a recycling-inspired loop. This form conveys continuity and sustainability, aligning with the brand’s core values of reuse and connectedness.
Wordmark
The wordmark is based on Thirsty Regular, a flowing, script-like typeface with interlooping strokes. We adapted the font to suit our needs, ensuring it reflects the brand’s tone.
Colour
The deep red #9a1b22 symbolizes passion, creativity, and boldness. It reflects SoulSoot’s DIY ethos, demanding attention while evoking excitement.

PHOTOSHOP
Working in a pair allowed us to use our strengths while exploring material and form, which eventually led to building a complete brand system. Alongside developing its way of working, we also designed the packaging—an interesting process that helped me understand the brand’s tone more clearly and how design choices shape its overall identity.
