Mīnākṣi; Eyes of the Fish
A sculpture which simulates the feeling of the saacred dip into water; achieving enlightenment.The reflection of water created on the floor and the roof resemble iris; the opening of a new vision to the new world and achieving the final divine enlightenment.


CONCEPT
Water as a Symbol of Purification
Ganges River is believed to cleanse sins and facilitate the divine and spiritual liberation.
Baptism represents purification and rebirth into the serene of spiritual life.
Taoism emphasizes Wu Wei, or effortless action, like the flow of the Wtaer

Coming from a communication background, working with new materials opened fresh ways of expression. I found experimenting with real-life interactive motion most engaging—using movement and reflection not just as form, but to evoke fragments of collective memory and shared experience.
